After reading some of my classmates blogs I wanted to talk about some that I liked. Some blogs I liked was on Angelina Reeses' page, Will's Blog, Katherine's Blog, Sebastian's Blog, and Lisa Olson's Blog. They all have something unique about theirs that I like. Angelina's has a blog about cheerleaders because she's a cheerleader, Will has a blog about the Warped tour, Katherine's blog is very bright and fun to look at, Sebastian's blogspot is funny and interesting, and is named after a soccer term, and Lisa's blog is fun to read because she rights is as if she is talking to someone in person.

Family
I believe that family is a group of people that love you and make you feel welcomed where ever you are. It doesn't necessarily mean a blood relative has to be your "family", a real good friend can be family, or a special dog. If you share holidays with friends, they can be counted as "family". Families fight, argue, love, understand, care, welcome, bicker, and a lot more! That is all great because that is what family is all about.
I have a really big family that does all of the above...and we still manage to love each other! My family circle is a real big circle that contains many great people like.. My mom, my brother, my sister, my cousins: Monica, Veronica, Alexa, Catalina, J.R, Michael, Little Ricky, Ricardo, Fernando, Johnny, Danny, Mezmerea, Brianna, Kristina, Angelina, my aunts and uncles: Auntie Irma, Auntie Ester, Auntie Rosa, Tia Celia, Rene, Tio Angel, Nino Oly, Uncle Pio, Uncle Rick, my grandma, and my grandpa. My family deals with about 5 different generations! That is just my family in America, I didn't include my other side of the family in Mexico! But that will just take way to long.
My family is everything I said in the first paragraph with full of little traditions and get-togethers. Like every Thanksgiving, we go to my Auntie Esters house, for Christmas we go to my Grandma's house, for Easter we go to my Tia Celia's house, every summer we go to a secret campsite with our secret lake, and every 4Th of July we go to my Grandpa's house. We love doing these things because these events force us to spend time with each other, and we often need that in our everyday busy lives.
To me, the quote "Families evolve from a patchwork of possibilities", means that families grow and learn from the possibilities and events going on in their lives. The decisions they make, the choices they choose, will further the family and their relationship with one another.

Cool Video: Future Gadgets
The UMPC video of the future was a really cool video. People with those gadgets must have an easier, less complicated life. I would love to have devices like that! These type of videos amaze me because it shows how far the world has developed. Like how does someone invent something like those devices. Its just incredible to see how it works and how it changes the lives of those who have these resources. To me the latest time of futuristic device is either the Mac computer or the new iphone coming soon. These things amaze me, but seeing the gadgets in this video really made my jaw drop! The part where the man replys to the message on his tv was the coolest thing yet! He just asks to record then replys his message. He asks to check his calendar and mail, and it did, without any waiting or trouble or loading! It popped open, without any further questions! That really interested me. From there on, I wasn't paying attention to anything else, just the video and what it had to offer! Here watch the video straight from my blog, prepare to be amazed:

Internet Statistics
Internet statistics was research on what people do on the internet and topics dealing with that. Like it says that 90% of internet users spend their time on the internet e-mailing others. There are other activities like entertainment and games or searching for information, but e-mailing is by far the most common use of the internet. The link also involves what happens when you spend to much time on the internet. Research says that if you spend more than 10 hours a week, talking to your friends decrease by 27%, time with your family will decrease by 15%, and time outside home will decrease by 13%! I believe that the internet can make your life much easier, but to much time can ruin your everyday activities.

Project Summary
This project has definitely been an experience that will further my knowledge about computers. I knew before that computers had a lot potential, but the little things I learned from this project amazed me! Like how to change the volume on certain clips and not the whole project, or how to make sounds and voices fade out. I also learned that if you press command and T you can cut the clips where you want so you can edit it. This project had to be one of the funnest projects ever. We got to pick the topic and how we were going to do it. Since Sebastian and I both take an interest in Soccer, so our project was all about SOCCER! I had fun going over Sebastian's House and pretending I was on ESPN doing a live broadcast! That had to be the funnest thing we did, next to editing it. If I could change anything about this project, it would be the script. The script was a bit boring and dull, if I had written it, I would have made it so that we talk to each other. Like we would compare and contrast different topics on Soccer so it looks more like ESPN. What I liked about this project was that it went pretty smooth. If we hit a dead end or a road block, we would ask my cousin and he would show us how to get past it. Overall this project was a fun experience and a great opportunity to learn things we have never seen before!

Last Day
Saturday night I returned to my cousin's house. I was just going to convert our project into a DVD. I decided to watch it one last time just in case we needed to add or take out any final touches. And I did! I took out some unnecessary effects that would just make our project look cheesy. This took me 2 hours, just to make it look the way we wanted it. My cousin showed us how to convert it and it came out smooth. It took 45 minutes to convert it into a finished project. I slept over his house that night and the next day, the whole family watched!

Help us!!!!
The next day, we went to my cousin's house for some help.I knew that he knew what to do to make our project complete. We edited our project, taking out the insignificant parts in our recording. We laughed and had a lot of fun there. Sebastian and I learned some new things about iMovie that we could later use in the future. We added some sound effects, video effects, and a lot more. By the time we made it presentable it was 8:00 at night. We had spent at least 6 hours editing our project that day. Sebastian and I said our thank you's then left.
Sebastian's House
Over Spring Break on Thursday, Sebastian and I decided to work on the project at his house. While I was away, he wrote the script so we could get things moving. When I arrived, Sebastian's father had recorded us on his camcorder. We messed up and had a couple of laughs but when it was put together it turned out pretty good. The conflict we really had was how to put this recording onto a DVD. So we went to CompUSA for some help. They told us some things that weren't that helpful, so we were stuck. Then I remembered that my cousin is a wiz when it comes to iMovie. I thought we could use some help. But that's a whole different story.

1st Brainstorm Project
My partner Sebastian and I are going to explain the history of soccer in different ways. We chose this topic because we both love the game of soccer We will be talking about the difference in soccer from when it started and now. This project will be valuable information that can help another learn the game of soccer. We will also go around the school and give others a survey. We will contain information to further our research. Once we get everything we need, we will turn it into video broadcast! Like a sports center! Here watch this video on a segment of soccer.
